Michael Shell is a 20+ year veteran of the building materials industry. He currently works as the Building Envelope & Architectural Consultant for Sika, Rmax in the Northeast US. He has spent the last 8+ years working in the building envelope / exterior insulation / moisture management environments in both commercial and residential product sales. He also has extensive experience in the commercial and residential insulation and residential roofing businesses. |
Ben Herlache has nearly 30 years’ experience in the construction industry. His roles have varied from the start of his professional career where he gained knowledge firsthand as an installer. Later he owned his own construction company where he developed a respect for communication between the owner, contractors, and architects to ensure a successful build. For several years now as a consultant, he puts that experience to practice and ties in the assistance that a manufacturer brings. Ben’s focus on the exterior wall assembly over the years has gained him the trust desired from architects, owners, and contractors as their advisor. Ben has a personal interest in the sustainability for the environment which has motivated him to offer valued solutions that will care for the needs of the building envelope. |
Matt received his Master’s degree in Architecture from Texas Tech University and has over 25 years in the building industry. His experience includes architectural design, construction, consulting, and training/development roles. As a Building Envelope & Architectural Consultant he works directly with Architects, Contractors, Consultants and Specifiers to select the optimal insulation for their projects while meeting applicable building codes. He is an active member that serves on the boards of several CSI and BEC chapters in Texas. |
