Rick Snelling

Rick Snelling is the Vice-President and General Manager of Armortex, a manufacturer specializing in bullet, blast, and forced-entry resistant security products, where he has served since 2002. He holds direct P&L responsibility and overseas sales, marketing, and manufacturing operations, bringing deep expertise in security standards such as UL, NIJ, ASTM, and GSA. With a background in creating company policies for training and communication and involvement in capital and security equipment selection, Rick brings strategic leadership to the physical security industry. Prior to Armortex, he spent 17 years in the telecommunications and IT sector in various sales and operational roles. He holds an MBA focused on Telecommunications Management from St. Edward’s University and the University of Dallas, and a bachelor’s degree in general business from Stephen F. Austin State University. Rick is an active member of ASIS and the San Antonio Manufacturers Association, and he previously served as President of the Safari Club International – Alamo Chapter.
