Steve Akin

Steve has been with Ultra-Tec for a little over six years now holding positions in sales, purchasing, and customer service. In 2021, Ultra-Tec became a major player in the railing world with two railing acquisitions, and he was asked to oversee the customer service team. This is where Steve dove in and started to really understand the industry. A year later, he was promoted to overseeing both the retail and commercial side of the business’ service teams. After two years of growth, Steve took over as National Sales Manager for the commercial side. Steve feels it has been a very rewarding position over the last two years to be able to represent a high quality American produced product while problem solving solutions and being involved in creating beautiful projects with their customers and architects alike. He is proud to be a part of this industry and offer insight into what cable railing has grown into today, along with the success that it is poised for in the future.
