Richard J. Prince
Richard Prince is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, customer service, and product development. Currently serving as Customer Service Manager at FaceKey Corporation since 2004, Richard plays a pivotal role in the design and testing of biometric security products. His wide-ranging responsibilities include software customization, inventory control, hardware testing, product documentation, and direct customer support for installation, training, and service.
Before joining FaceKey, Richard held key engineering roles at Pass & Seymour/Legrand, where he focused on new product introduction, test system design, and manufacturing optimization. His earlier career includes engineering and documentation roles at Mas-Hamilton Group and Vindicator Corp., where he specialized in high-security electronic locks and intrusion detection systems. At IBM Corporation, where he spent 27 years, Richard held supervisory and engineering positions supporting PCB manufacturing, equipment procurement, and spare parts logistics.
Richard holds technical training from DeVry Institute of Technology, Pima Community College, Duchess Community College, and served in the U.S. Army. He is also a recipient of IBM's GPD Achievement and Suggestion Awards. His diverse skill set includes CAD design, LabView programming, and a deep commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
